Counsellor East Devon

Counsellor Sidmouth

If you feel that you need to talk to someone because you are going through difficulties, psychotherapy may be right for you. Sometimes we experience distressing thoughts and emotions as a result of life events.

Sometimes the problem feels as if it has been there for a long time. Together we can explore and work through such thoughts and emotions in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

Please get in touch and see how I can help you."

Donna Cronshey, MBACP

How can I help you?

Counselling through psychotherapy provides a safe confidential space in which your thoughts and feelings can be voiced, heard and explored with another, without the fear of being judged. It allows you the space to make sense of your own situation. Talking about your thoughts, feelings and worries can help clarify the issue(s) troubling you. This is all part of the process of counselling which can help you feel less burdened and isolated and more supported and accepted.

Essentially, Psychotherapy is about building a trusting and open relationship between the client and the practitioner, so that you, the client, feels safe to explore their issues. And it is this relationship between us seeks to help you to develop the strength needed to experience personal growth and transformation.
